Driver education depends on well-prepared teachers teaching safe driving practices using the best available teaching techniques and curricula.

According to a national study completed in Oregon (2005), crash rates, traffic conviction rates and driver license suspension rates for teens taking formal driver education were LOWER than those taking 100 hours of practice time with their parents. Read more
